Just a few words to thank you for the many years of enjoyment and inspiration that I've experienced since I bought your album "Made in New England" over 20 years ago in Ann Arbor MI. Of course, so many wonderful other ones have followed through the years and it is lovely to follow you on your own musical journey. I'm happy to see your book of poems inspired by Ashfield MA(I'm assuming that is where the title comes from.). In the early 1970's, while an undergrad at the Univ. of Mass at Amherst, I spent many a happy hour there in the company of two dear friends, one of whom is now deceased. Many an evening of laughter and warmth resound in my memory whenever I see the town's name. What a nice surprise to see your own discovery of this location so dear to me.

Hi Lui, I last saw you probably about five years ago at the New Moon Coffee House in Havehill, MA. I always liked your music when I listened to folk radio but when I saw you live, the depth of your music was really brought forth (as only live music can). I too am a musician, (bluegrass and won't quit my day job!)and really appreciate what you do as an artist and the quality of your voice is hauntingly beautiful. It's been way too long since having heard you but alas, see no engagements in my area. I hope you will be back up this way sometime soon. In the mean time, I plan to buy a CD or two to hold me over. Happy holiday's.

Hello, I'm so excited to see I can accually say something to you. As I was researching your music I had no idea I would come across this. My name is Nicole, and I'm a junior in high school. My mom has played your music for me since I was born. I have to do a project in school on our "favorite song". I chose "Passion". I just wanted to tell you that you have a magnificent voice and I find myself listening to your music all the time. Thank you for every song you have written. I've loved them all.

Hi Lui,
Just had to drop you a note to let you know how grateful I am for the chance my wife and I had to hear you play at the Christensen home in Huntington Beach on Saturday. Wow!! I was blown away. You may recall my comment about being unworthy to be there. I really felt that way. You have gifts, amazing gifts for poetry and music. Thank you for sharing those gifts with us that night. I read your most recent musing about professional music. There is not a professional musician on this planet who would not listen to you in awe of your pure and genuine talent.

I am in search of the music for Blessed. I would like to use it at a dedication service for our new Religious Ed. buildings at our Unitarian Universalist Fellowship here in Boise. Hello Lui,
Just want to let you know that Charlie and I had a wonderful time hosting our house concert with you this past Sunday. The performance was so magical. It was such a thrill to hear Charlie sing with you. And "Wildflower Song" was the best "in person"! The conversations before and after the show were just as enlightening and fun. I also thought it was very cool that you performed in you socks. I usually walk around in my socks and it was good that the night was so comfortable for you. We will have to do it again when it is not so cold and no Super Bowl Sunday.

Hi Lui: Thanks for the incredible concert last night. The music went straight to the soul. I'm the mom in the 2nd row whose kids kind of sprawled out on the floor in front. Thanks for your kindness and your gifts. It was an absolute highlight of our holiday...went home to call my surrogate mom about the great evening and she said to say hi to you!!! Small world. Her name is Anna Lou... another major gift in life. It's funny how you were talking about your recent calling. I've been sharing the joy of music with little ones (Kindermusik) for almost 6 years. Isn't it an honor to be able to help kindle that torch of music in each of their souls? It's been such joy...and I LOVE chickens, too!!! When you mentioned that, I nearly fell out of my seat! We've got Rocky and company pecking and scratching all over our yard! They are so entertaining, each with their own personality. Thanks again for sharing... an evening of musical bliss! Kate

I was a member of the audience at your April 2001 concert at the Kaleva Hall in Virginia who purchased your "Leaving Fort Knox" CD. A few days after the concert I received news that I had lymphoma cancer - treatable but scary. Your music and spirit sustained me through the darkest moments of that experience and for that I will be eternally thankful. I have just celebrated the second anniversary of the end of my chemo with news of an "all-clear from my Dr. and celebrated by listening to Swimming to the Other Side. I went to Trinity but before meeting you had no idea of Connecticut's greatest treasure. Keep the faith...and spirit

I can't figure outhow to attach the photo to this guestbook entry. (How did I send you theKetubah photo?) If you will send me an e-mail address, I can send you apicture.
Marilyn and I are interested in hosting a house concert for you. Send meall the info and let's see if we can make that happen.

Hi Lui!!!Wow the powers of the internet, I finally found you again!!! You touched my life with your music way back in 1990. I was overjoyed to hear you in person in North Hampton Mass, what a thrill. I brought my son (then just 1) along. He's now 6'1" and 14 and now we have two more. I have looked and looked for your concerts and couldn't find any, thought maybe you retired. I've finally been dragged into the 21st century and this internet (I must have been the last to resist) and VOILA I found you and your concerts. Plan to come see you in Wolfeboro in August. Wondering how your son has been doing, I remember your stories about his foot and always wonedered how he has done. Look forward to seeing you on Aug 1st and from now on. Your music has carried me through many a moment!!! I have worn your records out. Peace Andi

Hi Lui, I got your phone message and decided to email since I have been really busy both at work and at home. Lakeside has a Community Center. There is also a coffeehouse called The Golden Goose in Lakeside and there is also a venue called Valley Music , 530 E,Main Street El Cajon . I think the number is 444-3161- they are having a fiddle workshop in the first part of March. I haven't seen Bob Taylor in about 2 years, since we stopped going to the same church so I am not sure what those possibilities are. I know they have a warehouse where they have "Taylor Nights" where they have employees perform so you might ask.Let me know how it goes- I would look forward to seeing you.Love, Gail
