You will notice that the songs "Come Jam With Me" and "See You Later, Alligator" are included in each seasonal Kids' Jam collection. I wrote these two songs to serve as "hello" and "goodbye" songs for each of our Kids' Jam Family Music Workshop lab classes. We sing our own names in Come Jam With Me by way of introducing ourselves to the class and to welcome one another into the weekly jam. We all sing each other's names together on "See Ya Later, Alligator" to say goodbye. By including these songs on each recording, they create consistent and recognizable bookends to the other songs, identifying the recording as part of the Kids' Jam curriculum, and welcoming the listener to sing and/or play along with each listening. All of the other songs in the Kids' Jam curriculum are unique to one seasonal Kids' Jam recording and songbook.
